6. Attitudes to using technology in education.

The British attitude to using technology as a tool for learning is too cautious, according to a newspaper opinion piece. Andrew King is working on a partnership project that links institutions in Nottinghamshire and India, so can make comparisons between attitudes her and there.
India educators are far more open to new ways of working, he says. Whether it's using fingerprint recognition systems to track attendance or a computer simulator for bricklaying, there's a willingness to give things a go, King says.
